Practise you demand to annals your Asus production in guild to get warranty?
1 of my friends just got burned by another visitor that had express warranties unless you registered the product.
I but built a new system with an Asus motherboard (Maximus IX Hero) and video card (1080 Turbo). Practise I need to register these products online to become a warranty? How long is the warranty on these?
What about my CPU? (Intel Core i7) or RAM? (G.Skill) Anyone know if those crave registration also? I also have hard drives from HGST and Samsung, I don't suppose anyone knows about those besides?
I know Corsair doesn't require information technology because I simply got warranty service done on a half-dozen-twelvemonth former PSU by them (7-yr warranty).

Moving this to general discussion as it should not be posted in this department.
For extended warranty information technology's unremarkably required that yous annals your product and upload copy of purchase invoice. If you don't annals your product then the warranty offered is ordinarily but the default, not including whatsoever extended warranty offers and based on manufacturing appointment through S/N bank check.

As far as I know, if y'all go along a copy of the invoice, we can unremarkably use that for the warranty date in the U.Southward. every bit long as information technology's from an 'authorized reseller' (used or second-mitt items would not reset the warranty start appointment, etc.), so that should give you a piddling more time.
Otherwise, if you lost or don't have the invoice, we should be able to check the 'manufacturer' warranty from the serial number. If yous take the interest, contact ASUS support and give them your series number to find out how much warranty yous take (and ask if you need to annals while you are at it?) which would be the manufacturer warranty without the invoice.
And so contact them again or reply to tell them you lot have the invoice and requite them the details of whom it was purchased from and the invoice purchased appointment to find out your warranty with the invoice if you're interested. Not sure if all the other regions follow the aforementioned process, but expect many do since products practise sometimes sit in the warehouse for a while before beingness sold.
